About Me

Vina spent most of her life drifting through school as a “good student,” only to realize after a few years of working that the life she was living wasn’t the one she wanted. So, years ago, she made a bold, clean break and switched careers. For a while, she thought she had finally found her calling—until the feeling quietly faded, replaced by an uneasy sense that something still wasn’t right. More and more things in life stopped making sense.

Then came the mass layoffs of 2023. She became part of the involuntary-departure club, and decided that since she had already fallen, she might as well sit down and rest for a moment.

When life slowed down, she began the journey of searching for herself. One day, she came across something Paul Millerd—author of The Pathless Path —said: writing is the simplest way we can contribute to the world. Whatever we’re going through, someone out there is likely experiencing, or about to experience, something similar.

Inspired by that idea, she decided to use this space to document her thoughts, struggles, and everyday life—partly to record her own growth (if any), and partly in the hope that the roads she’s walked and the books she’s read might help someone else.
